Lucy Allan

Lucy is a theatre director who has directed poetry plays, devised plays and new writing, as well as directing Shakespeare with young people. She was trainee director at Leeds Playhouse from 2018-19 and is a mentor director for the National Theatre Connections Festival. Directing includes The Ballad of Maria Marten (Rose Bruford at the Pleasance Theatre), Poisoned Polluted (Old Red Lion), Above the Mealy-Mouthed Sea (Underbelly and UK tour), Melody (Omnibus Theatre and UK tour), Unsung (Rosemary Branch and Wilton's Music Hall). Drama school work includes As You Like It, Yerma (Rose Bruford), Pomona and Antigone (ALRA). Assisting includes Hamlet, Dinner 18:55, Kes, Not Such Quiet Girls, Airplays (Leeds Playhouse) and Not Such Quiet Girls (Opera North).
