Paolo Possidente

Paolo Possidente is an Italian musician from Torino, based in Berlin from March 2022. Trained as a jazz drummer he works as a performing musician, composer and sound artist. In addition to his performing activities on drums and/or electronics for various projects and ensembles with which he records and plays throughout all Europe, he explores experimental electronic music, noise, noise-ambient and soundscape. His music creation defies genre clichés, blending diverse influences and incorporating innovative improvisation techniques, timbres, and hybrid sounds that challenge the acoustic/electronic relationship. He has released several albums and is one of the creators of the collective/orchestra Pietra Tonale. He has also been active for several years as an organizer, artistic director and promoter for concerts, artistic and cultural events.
