Gazino Neukölln is a queer feminist band based in Berlin. Inspired by the glamorous historical nightclubs, namely Gazinos, in Turkey, the band wants to create a sincere, sassy and kitschy atmosphere via music and queer politics. The band predominantly covers pop hits with Turkish lyrics by intervening to the original versions to liberate them from sexism, homophobia and transphobia.
