In dieser Residenz werden sich Cabinet:Novus an der Performance "Nested" arbeiten.
In der Performance "Nested" beschäftigt sich Cabinet:Novus mit dem Thema Kunst und Migration zwischen Osten und Westen. Wie ist die Lage der Künstler:innen aus östlichen Kulturen, die vom westlichen Weltimage beeinflusst und angezogen werden? Was bedeutet Migration für Künstler:innen? Was lassen sie dabei hinter sich und wie positionieren sie sich in ihrer neuen Heimat?

What is the situation of artists from Eastern cultures who are influenced and attracted by the Western world image? What does migration mean for artists? What did they leave behind and how do they position themselves in their new home?
