Hyewon Suk

Hyewon Suk (she/her) is a composer and sound artist based in Berlin and Seoul. Her work centers on the aural experience as a means of exploring physical, ecological, and political systems within temporal and spatial frameworks. She emphasizes listening as a speculative act, investigating the relationships between human and non-human, material and immaterial, subject and object. Her practice spans installation, film, fixed audio pieces, and audiovisual performances, presented internationally. She has also collaborated with a wide range of artists, filmmakers, and choreographers on diverse composition projects.
